QUICK GREAT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!

Make a double batch and keep some in the freezer – they don’t last very long so hide some!

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour

1tsp of baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup of butter or margarine

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

3/4 cup white sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp of vanilla

2 cups of  semi-sweet chocolate chips

or 1 cup of M & M’s and 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method:

Preheat oven to 350

In a big bowl mix flour, baking soda and salt.

In electric mixer (kitchen aid) mix butter, brown sugar, white sugar,2 eggs and vanilla.

Mix until smooth and slowly add flour mix.

Add Chocolate chips  –  mix in by hand.

Drop batter by the spoonful on an ungreased cookie sheet.  Cook for 10 – 12 minutes.  Remove and cool on rack before placing in containers.

Make lots they’ll be gone in no time!  Great for the kids lunches  – not so good for mom’s waistline!
