If you have ever had the chance to watch a hummingbird you would know that this is true:
“Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy and celebration. Hummingbirds open our eyes to the wonder of the world and inspire us to open our hearts to loved ones and friends. Like a hummingbird, we aspire to hover and to savor each moment as it passes, embrace all that life has to offer and to celebrate the joy of everyday. The hummingbird’s delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life’s sweetest creation.”

I remember watching them as a child. My grandmother had a “bottlebrush tree” not sure of the real name in her yard and they LOVED it. One a regular day you could find at least three of them floating around. I was always amazed and then one day my grandfather cut the tree down and they never came back. I was heartbroken
They are amazing to watch – I always feel my heart lighten when I watch them..
Hummingbirds are a joy to watch! I don’t have a feeder where I live now – but I used to have one that I couldn’t keep filled for all the ‘customers!! Sometimes I would have 20+ birds trying to feed at the one feeder!
Now I see the occasional one…but it still thrills me!
Thanks for sharing …and for stopping by my site!

You can’t help but stop and stare at them!
