an exterior like armour
hard as a rock
protecting the delicate shell
that lies within
closed to the ones
who
can’t see beyond the shadows
of doubt
and the lies of the masses
leaving the armour
to
stop the shell from cracking
only to surface
to
the enlightened ones.
