My name is Johanne and I am a mother of two beautiful boys and blessed to be married to someone I love very much. I work full-time as an office manager and as time permits I dabble in photography, writing, thrifting, garage sale hunting and vintage shopping. Also, I am a Master Reiki Practitioner and I continue to journey on this road to a simpler life that includes well-being for my family and community. If Reiki is something that intrigues you, please go to my website simplyreiki3.com for more information.
My husband and I are very busy managing our time with the many activities of a busy family life. I have a profound hearing loss which renders me essentially deaf, however, the disability makes life interesting and at times challenging but my deafness also adds humour making it easy to laugh at myself. I find pleasure in the most simplest things in life; the smell of flowers, the laughter of my children, the smell of a brand new puppy or the sight of a glorious rainbow after a shower.
Hopefully, this blog will give me the freedom and creativity to jot down the many random thoughts that go through my head on a daily basis and share the many simple pleasures that make me smile. Feel free to send me an e-mail: momwhearingloss@yahoo.com

The way I was hired as a freelance writer was through my blog. It was pretty active during the Christmas holidays due to everyone wanting to see what my elf was doing. They heard word of it, followed my blog, and they emailed me. It really was luck. Good luck to you.
Riley paid off then! I enjoyed the adventures of Riley – Good luck with your magazine!

Bienvenue et merci pour de suivre mon blog. Ton blog est bien
You are not alone. I do have a profound hearing loss and have worn dual hearing aids since 1986. My loss is nerve loss that I inherited from my Mom. Hearing loss may just be a new topic for me to write about on my blog.
The source of my hearing problem is the same – nerve loss – Inherited from my mother’s side! I’m looking forward to reading your blog as I’m a huge RV fan – my family spends a month camping every summer – my husband and I plan to spend our golden years in RV parks.
Many Thanks for the follow at naturestimeline, much appreciated.
Best Wishes
Tony Powell
