This past weekend we headed up to the family cabin in Manning to build a new shed.  I was grateful for a nice combination of work and play.  We  took a break and visited our favourite fishing hole.   Every year we are greeted with beautiful wild mountain daisies during our hike to our fishing spot.  While the boys were fishing I was chasing bees and hoping to get a good picture.  I took many pictures and I was rewarded with one picture that I adore of a bee busy at work.  I love watching bees and I’ve been watching them since I was a little girl.

DAISIES OF SPRING – FRIDAY’S PHLOG FOR MARCH 14, 2014

I took this picture in Manning Park.  We were camping in the park and walking to our fishing hole.  As we came around a corner we were faced with a sea of daisies.  The boys and Drew walked straight to the edge of the lake and started fishing without much fanfare.   I walked through the field of daisies and took pictures for an hour.  Men just don’t appreciate some of the finer things in life!
